A fine and detailed .1/8 scale display model of the Packard 1M-2500 V-12 etrol engine as fitted to the racing speedboat Miss America,
built by J.A. May with separate cylinders, twenty four spark plugs and leads distributors, carburettors, two supechargers, inlet manifolds, exhaust pipes and pump, starter and 'flywheel', the crankcase with plate engraved 'Packard 1M-2500/2', finished in 'aluminium' and black and mounted on two brass columns -- 5 x 10¾in. (10.7 x 27.3cm.) Display base and perspex cover.
