An unusual and well engineered hot air engine built in the form of a beam engine,
5esigned and built by R. Allsworth with waterjacketed displacer and power cylinders, the larger 1¾in. bore x 4¼in. stroke, the beam operated by links, quadrants and crank, the crankshaft with spoked flywheel; further details include water tank, belt driven governor and dummy linkage, firebox and gas burner, the whole finished in green, black and polished brightwork -- 17 x 27in. (43.2 x 68.5cm.)
