A rare coin-slot musical stereoscope,
with eighteen French stereocards on a conveyor, rotated one quarter-turn twice in each revolution of the musical cylinder via a sprung push-rod operated by a pin-wheel on the end of the cylinder arbor, in walnut case with ground-glass panel in lid, fixed-focus lenses, coin-drawer in base, three printed display cards on front Musique Automatique pour faire jouer mettez 10 cts. Henri Vidoudez Ste. Croix and matching escutcheons for coin-slot and serial number 13756 -- 19.5/8in. (50cm.) high, circa 1890 (restored); and an Underwood & Underwood album of spare stereo-cards
