with cornicing to the top; dentilled architrave; the entablature with the words "AVE MARIA GRA PLENA" in gilded lettering on a black ground; further mouldings, all supported by elaborate Ionic capitals on pilasters decorated with palmettes issuing from vases; the gilded fascia, incised with blooms and foliage; the black-painted, arched sight edge incised with imbricated leaves -- 19 3/4 x 13 x ca. 7 1/2-12 in.
