with regular incisions to the outer edge, alternating with concave crescent-shaped motifs; the reverse cavetto with stylised foliate motifs to the corners and centres, flanked by painted mock tortoise-shell reposes; the raised sight edge with lozenges within concave oval settings -- 31 7/8 x 24 1/4 x 3 3/8 in. (81 x 61.6 x 8.5 cm.)
