See Saburo Matsubara, Chuugoku Bukkyo Chokokushi Ron, (The Path of Chinese Sculpture), Japan, 1995, vol. 3, no. 724, for a Buddhist stone relief panel, from the Tokyo University Art Museum dated to year of Tien Bao, corresponding to A.D. 750 also depicting arhats and guardians; another stele in low relief from the City Art Museum, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka province, Japan, dated to A.D. 734, but of a more formal format, no. 710; and one other, of a much larger size from Shanxi Province dated A.D. 691 with the lower panel depicting a crowded Buddhist scene with disciples and guardians
