471 x 604 mm. Engraved single sheet laid down on original board, marbled paper borders. Depicting 43 nations on the 43 squares of the game, beginning with North America and proceeding through South America, Africa, India and China to Europe, culminating in France. Each square depicts a man and woman in national dress, and a brief description of the people and customs of the country.
Henry Rene D'Allemagne's thorough study of early board games (Le Novle jeu de l'oie en France, Paris, 1950) lists this game, and notes an earlier version of 1662, but cannot locate copies of either.
