FIRST EDITION of the author's second book, one of 500 copies printed. The Tailor of Gloucester was Beatrix Potter's favorite book, and she preferred this privately printed edition to Warne's because it contained more of the old rhymes. Linder, p. 420; Quinby 3; V & A 1562-65 and 1568. A FINE COPY.
