This shade features many variants of 'fractured' glass which Tiffany produced to create wisps of sky and a hazy atmosphere in these impressionistic botanical compositions. Deep blue fractured glass decorates the crown of the shade and descends to white, ochre and green grapes and foliage which are juxtaposed against a polychrome fractured glass ground. The shade is based on the wistaria form lamp that was designed by Mrs. Curtis Freshel.
