TIFFANY STUDIOS

The present owner's grandfather, John Winter, worked as a matre'd at the restaurant Louis Sherry's in New York City and received this vase as a gift from Louis Comfort Tiffany, one of the restaurant's patrons. When John Winter died in 1925, the vase was given to his wife, who gifted it to their granddaughter in 1959.
