Centred by an urn-shaped vase decorated with spring flowers and birds, inset with a circular enamel dial and timepiece, the movement stamped 7799/PAINTRE, inscribed in ink GILLETTE AU NID, surmounted by flowers with porcelain heads, on a shaped base flanked to each side by a group of emblematical figures, and applied to both sides and front with plaques depicting putti playing musical instruments, on six paw feet, the underside with imitation incised interlaced 'L' and impressed 21
