Probably Austrian, Circa 1885
Each of baluster form, the spreading foliate-cast lid above a fluted frieze cast with four lizards below, the tapering body cast in high relief with mythological scenes depicting on one side Anchisessand Prinion and on the other, Anaphora and Aphrodite, with Greek titles below, with a pair of handles each as an airborne nymph with billowing drapery behind, on a circular spreading foot and octagonal black marble plinth
