The spirally-fluted steeply domed cover with pine-cone finial, above a spirally-fluted waisted neck, the tapering body painted to each side with a nymph and attendant putti, on one side gathering flowers and emblematic of Spring, on the other reaping corn and representing Summer, with a pair of scrolling acanthus-cast handles, on a spirally-fluted spreading foot and circular plinth cast with ribbon-tied drapery and tasseled swags, on square flat feet, the underside with imitation underglaze blue interlaced 'L' mark
