Lot Essay

Durenne established his foundry at Sommevoire in the Haute-Marne, France, in 1855. He worked with Carrier-Belleuse, Bartholdi and Klagmann on private as well as public commissions. He became membre des comits d'admission at the 1878 Paris Exposition Universelle.
