The domed cover surmounted by a pine cone finial, the inside with interlaced L mark, above a waisted neck and baluster body painted with two reserved panels, one depicting a Watteauesque scene, signed Polyet, the other a river landscape with a house, flanked to each side by a volute and foliate handle, on a spreading foot and shaped plinth
