In the Renaissance style, Circa 1875
Surmounted by a pierced frieze of cherubs, centred with an escutcheon, above two breakfront shelves, supported by mythical winged creatures, the back panels carved with scenes from the bacchic feast, the lower part of breakfont outline, above a pair of frieze drawers, flanked by three small concealed drawers, above a pair of cupboard doors, flanked to each side by a bearded figure, the sides each with a bearded mask amongst scrolls

The six main panels depict mythological scenes and may possibly represent The Rape of Europa, The Triumph of Ariadne, the Triumph of Bacchus, The Drunken Silenus, Diana and Adonis, and Demeter or Mother Earth, but the subjects have been treated in a very free manner.
