A set of eight carved walnut dining-chairs
Circa 1870
Comprising two armchairs and six side-chairs: the toprail of each carved with foliage and headed by a lion mask flanked by scrolls, above uprights carved with stylised trefoils, headed with a grotesque mask, the apron carved with swags, with square back legs and baluster-shaped foliate-carved front legs, the terminals to the armchairs with a lion holding a crest, upholstered with faux leather (8)
