with dentilled outer edge; outer cavetto; ogee with hatched-leaf acanthus to the corners, within C scrolls and on a cross-hatched ground; flanked by scrolling foliage and strap-work also on a cross-hatched ground running to central cartouches; recessed sanded band; taenia; stylised foliate course; sight edge -- 24 x 17 x 5in. (61 x 43.2 x 13.95cm.) and another smaller gilt composite frame, 20th Century. (2)
