A carved rosewood A frame gallery easel, probably North European, 19th Century,
the three legs carved with trailing, fruiting vines on a punched ground; the front two peirced for fitting pegs to support a picture, and with a stretcher between them; the sides of the legs with a carved guilloche pattern; the two turned pegs with carved foliage and finials -- 67in. (172.1cm.) high.
