Pauillac, 1er cru class. Chteau-bottled
Bin-soiled and some slightly stained labels. Levels: lots 127 to 129 top-shoulder or better. Lot 130: seven top-shoulder or better, four upper-shoulder and one mid/upper-shoulder
The end of the mid '70s depression in Bordeaux was signalled by this vin de garde, the best being full of fruit and extract to mask the high life-preserving tannins. Last tasted in Malmo in April 1995 when, out of 122 1975s I gave Mouton the highest mark. M.B.
