A SILVER CHALICE AND A PATEN
Probably 19th century Canadian, struck with lion passant and and sovereign's profile
The partly stop-fluted chalice with inverted bell form gilt-lined bowl on partly fluted baluster lower knopped stem, on molded raised circular base flat chased and engraved with radiating fluted calyx, below engraved with Cross--11in. (27.9cm.) high,, the paten of typical form, the reverse engraved IHS, within entwined thorns--6in. (16.5cm.) diam., 28oz. (2)
