The milk jug and waste bowl maker's mark of Fletcher & Gardiner, Philadelphia, circa 1815, other pieces unmarked
Comprising teapot, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, milk jug and two handled waste bowl, each bowed oblong, on four lion's paw supports, with applied die-rolled rose band to shoulder, the sugar bowl and waste bowl with two Classical female masks forming grips, the pots with angular wood handle, with partly paneled eagle's mask headed scroll spout, the hinged raised cover topped by acorn finial on foliate calyx, the coffee pot engraved Anne Dover and Moses Thomas} Oct. 10th 1811 Ellen Thomas and Morton McMichael Jr.} Nov. 25 1857.
