A set of eight Batavian ware blue and white teabowls and saucers
painted with peonies and bamboo, the undersides in cafe-au-lait -- the saucers -- 4in. (11.5cm.) diam; and a blue and white bowl, decorated with a river landscape scene -- 7in. (19cm.) diam, all circa 1750.
