Comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl and cream jug; each tomato-form, the spot-hammered matte body applied with gold and copper Japanese beetles amid vines bearing tomatoes, the teapot handle with ivory insulators, the cream jug and sugar bowl handles formed realistically as twigs, the hinged covers with copper tomato vine finials, the cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt interiors, marked under bases 5176/9905
The teapot 9in. long; gross weight 28oz. 10dwt.
