Maker's mark of Bailey & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1850
Comprising hot water urn with removable holder for heating iron, coffee pot, teapot, cream jug, covered sugar bowl and waste bowl; each urn-shaped, on spreading circular base, the hot water urn on a square pedestal with four ball feet, the body repouss and chased with floral festoons, one side engraved with monogram SMR, with Greek key and beaded borders, with scroll spouts and leaf-capped handles with ivory insulators, the hot water urn with leaf-capped reeded handles, the covers and hinged lids repouss and chased with floral festoons and surmounted by similar urn-shaped finials, marked under bases
