Attributed to Joseph Rawson, Sr. (1760-1835), Providence, Rhode Island, circa 1815
In two parts: the upper section with shaped crest centering two brass urn finials above a rectangular plate enclosed by an inlaid frame flanked by reeded supports and held by scrolled brackets with ivory-inset roundels over a recessed case fitted with three short veneered drawers with ivory pulls; the lower section with rounded outset corners above three graduated and veneered long drawers with ivory escutcheons flanked by ring-turned legs
