AN ENGLISH DELFT LARGE DISH
Circa 1755, London or Bristol
Painted in blue, green and iron-red with a flowering plant within a blue-dash surround, the border with half flowerheads, 13.3/8in. (34.3cm.) diam.; together with a Dutch Delft blue and white large Chinoiserie dish, blue 7 mark, painted with two vases of variant shape issuing flowers, the wide border with four terraces of similar flowers reserved within shaped oval panels against the diaper-pattern band outlining the well, 13.5/8in. (34.6cm.) diam. (2)
