Circa 1760, both boxes and the right hand cover with blue 2 marks, the left cover with a smeared blue mark
Modelled as nesting plovers, the birds with blue, manganese and green plummage and iron-red feathers on the underside of the tail, the boxes as the nests and glazed in green
