The first pair oval bomb form, on four lion's paw feet headed by acanthus, with two leaf-capped reeded upswept open handles, the gadrooned rim with acanthus and anthemion at intervals, the domed cover with a calyx of acanthus and leaf-capped handle, each side engraved with armorials; the second pair of oval lobed, on four scroll and shell feet, with two rocaille and oak leaf upswept open handles, the gadrooned shaped rim with acanthus and shells at intervals, the lobed covers with a twisted foliate open handle surmounting foliage, and with a slot for spoon, one side engraved with crest, apparently unmarked
