Including a small jug transfer printed in black with 'Success to the Volunteers' within a grape vine wreath, the reverse with 'The Governor of Europe (Napoleon Bonaparte) Stoped (sic) in his Career', 5in. (12.7cm.) high; a quart bowl printed in black inside and out with 'High Level Bridge, Newcastle-on-Tyne', a verse, and with a paddle steamer, 7.3/8in. (18.7cm.) diam.; a large jug moulded as a tree trunk and with vignettes on both sides of a bird feeding four chicks in a nest, the male bird in attendance, the moulded vignettes enriched in pink and copper lustres, pea and grass greens, brown and enriched in gilt, 9in. (22.9cm.) high; together with a copper-lustre cream jug moulded as a shell, 6.1/8in. (15.6cm.) high; and a Wedgwood black basaltes cream jug, the body moulded with an Art of Union foliate scroll band of shamrock, thistle and the Tudor Rose, 4in. (10.2cm.) high (5)
