Each painted in the style of Boucher with a gallant and companion on a garden reserved on the bright turquoise ground within a cisel 'jewelled' band, the ground between the cartouches with 'jewelled' gilt strapwork, a pierced ormolu gallery between the cover and pot, raised on an ormolu base with three paw feet, 5in. (14.6cm.) high; together with a Jacob Petit style brown ground cylindrical bough pot and cover, stencilled iron-red GH mark, painted with alternating panels of birds on branches and loose bouquets reserved within gilt rocaille cartouches, on four paw feet and a further ring base, 7.3/8in. (19.3cm.) high; and a Jacob Petit sarcophagus-form flower-encrusted pot-pourri and cover, blue JP mark, with shell handles and scroll feet, 5in. (14.6cm.) wide overall (4)
