Late 19th century, blue crossed swords marks, incised D. 13, impressed 67 51., iron-red 54.
Modelled as a wine master seated on a barrel toasting with a goblet of wine, surrounded by children engaged in various pursuits associated with making wine, on rocaille-moulded base enriched in gilt, 8.3/8in. (21.3cm.) high; together with a Meissen two-tiered cake stand, the finial as a young girl emblematic of Spring holding flowers in her apron, 16in. (41.9cm.) high (2)
