A Chinese export silver seven-piece tea and coffee service
circa 1900, with later French control marks
Comprising a two-handled shaped oblong tray with incurved angles, a tea-kettle, stand and lamp, a pear-shaped coffee pot, a circular teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl and cover, a two-handled slop bowl and a milk jug, the tray with two dragon's tail bracket handles, the tray border and bodies chased and applied overall with fighting dragons, the covers with dragon head finials, with dragon spouts and handles, marked on bases and with later French control mark on bodies and covers
