Circular, the raised border applied with cast and chased ribbon-tied pine cones and fir fronds, acanthus leaves and buds, vines and bunches of grapes, oak leaves and acorns, poppies and foliage, berried ivy, mulberry berries and leaves, laurel foliage and berries and beech foliage and beech nuts, with inner band of acanthus foliage and a broad border of bacchic masks alternating with panels of fruiting vines, all on a matted ground, the centre engraved with a coat-of-arms with baron's coronet above, the reverse engraved '1st August 1851', marked on underside
