The bowl on square base and with acanthus foliage stem, with two scroll and rearing horse handles and vine rim, the plinth with moulded border and plain mounts, one lacking, the blue composition sides applied with two oblong plaques, one engraved with presentation inscription, the other with a coat-of-arms, marked on base, plaques and bowl, the plinth with retailer's stamp 'MORTIMER & HUNT', one plaque with retailer's stamp 'WEST & SON'
