RARE MATURE BORDEAUX AND PORT
Removed from Temperature-Controlled Storage
The vendor and his wife are both well-known connoisseurs with an interest in wine dating from the early 1950's. All wines from 1952 forward were purchased upon release. The cellar is both built into a San Francisco area hillside and refrigerated. It is very damp, which is great for corks but does cause some water damage to the labels and wood boxes. I have tasted wines from this cellar over the course of the past 30 years and can vouch for the wine's consistent high quality. (DF)
