拍品專文

A study in reverse for the print part of a series of six hunting scenes printed by Cock at his publishing house Aux quatre Vents in 1570-6. The borders and the cartouche with the inscriptions were engraved on designs by Hermann Mller. The drawings were executed around 1567. The other drawings for the prints are in the Muse des Beaux-Arts, Orlans, the Louvre and the Uffizi, A. Baroni Vannucci, Jan Van Der Straet detto Giovanni Stradano, Milan, 1997, nos. 303, 305, 309-10.
