The original, to be dated to circa 1780, on canvas, 65 x 52 cm, is in the Castle Potsdam-Sanssouci (Friedrich II. und die Kunst - Ausstellung zum 200. Todestag, II, exhibition catalogue, Neues Palais in Sanssouci, 19 July-12 October 1986, p.177, n0XIV.18, ill), of which another version, finished by his daughter Friederike Juliane, is in the Staatliches Museum Schwerin (op. cit., p.177, under n0XIV.18).
