Original publisher's morocco-backed bevelled maroon boards, the upper covers blocked in gilt and black and embossed, the spines in 7 compartments, blocked and lettered in gilt and embossed, gilt edges, endpapers printed in blue and silver (extremities rubbed, lower covers scratched, each volume lacking one embossing pin); and two other large illustrated folio works of similar interest.
