Inlaid overall with ebony lines, the rectangular plinth inlaid with a simulated cut-cornered panel, below the rectangular trunk door with glazed lenticle and flanked by shaped wings, below the arched hood with moulded cornice and glazed sides, the silvered Roman dial signed Veit Gensbacher, with the repoussé brass centre, spandrels and arch decorated with rockwork and C-scrolls, with pierced blued steel hands, the four pillar movement with three barrels, anchor escapement and strike on two bells, restorations and alterations, damages
