Each with a rectangular plate, the frame of one decorated with oak leaves, the other with moss, both with paterae in the corners

Lot Essay

These neo-classical mirrors, together with those sold as lots 402 and 403, were originally placed in the rectangular simulated panels in the Rittersaal, and were removed to the main reception rooms in the South Wing when large pictures depicting the family trees were executed and put in their place.
