Comprising four blue guilloché enamel panels each within a chased floral frame and applied portrait and bouquet plaques with festoon and diamond collet connections, circa 1890, with French assay and maker's marks, 18.0 cm long with safety chain

Gautrait was the chief-engraver for the Parisian jeweller Gariod and together, they worked very successfully for the Maison Vever. This particular maker's mark was registered in 1884. Vever is said to have described Gautrait's work as executed with a rare perfection and charming, where the engraving and enamel plays a very important part
