Inlaid overall with scrolling foliage, the circular chased dial with shaped enamel Roman and Arabic chapters, surrounding a low relief portrait medallion of the Dauphin flanked by fleur-de-lys, a pair of dolphins and foliage, with blued steel hands, above a pierced plaque centred by an oval enamel panel signed 'SUCHET A PARIS', the movement signed 'J Franois Suchet A Paris', the clock on turned foliate tapering feet, the bracket with a foliate berried finial, the bracket with remains of paper label inscribed in ink 'Mrs. Reginald... anwich H... ...' minor losses to the inlay, with pendulum, lacking winder
