A GERMAN WALNUT, HAREWOOD, FRUITWOOD AND MARQUETRY TABLE
Mid-18th Century
The moulded, shaped rectangular top with rounded eared angles inlaid with a central military trophy flanked by foliage, the angles inlaid with asymmetrical cartouches, trophies and quivers flanked by further foliage within a foliate and berried border with fruitwood banding, above a shaped moulded frieze, with two small drawers and on cabriole legs terminating in foliate scrolls, the underside of one drawer stencilled in ink with the circled number '22', the other one stencilled 'K'
