Three chairs Regency, one chair of a later date and the card-table designed by Felix Harbord circa 1957
Each painted white with pale blue palmettes, the square card-table with eared top and turned tapering legs, the chairs with tablet back and pierced vertical splat, squab cushion and caned seat, on turned tapering legs
The table: 31 in. (79 cm.) high; 36 in. (92 cm.) square (5)
Provenance
Bought from Felix Harbord for The Owl House, probably in late 1957. In a letter dated 30 October, he wrote of the chairs that 'I got eight of them together and the other four are going to South America'.
