The circular enamel dial with Roman numerals inscribed 'Lesieur Paris' in a two-handle vase case, flanked by cupid digging with a spade to one side and a tree to the other, on a shaped rectanuglar plinth the frieze with scenes of cupid gardening, the end panels with vase of flowers flanked by storks, on turned waisted feet, the reverse of the movement inscribed 'LeSieur', the top of the plinth bronze, the dial with two repaired chips, one foot later, with pendulum and winder
13 in. (34 cm.) high; 11 in. (29 cm.) wide; 4 in. (11 cm.) deep
