Of Queen Anne Style, 20th Century, By C. Bechstein
Decorated overall with chinoiserie landscapes, riverscapes, figures and birds, the hinged moulded top enclosing a red and gilt japanned interior above a frieze and a vitruvian scroll moulded, on ring-turned baluster supports joined by stretchers and on cabriole legs headed by scallop-shells, bun feet, the interior with brass plaque 'C. BECHSTEIN BERLIN' and with a plaque depicting a lion and shield 'SCHUTZ MARKE C. BECHSTEIN' and 'B', no.105035, the frame stamped '42602'
