made for the Islamic market, with flattened everted rim, decorated to the exterior with shaped panels of kufic calligraphy -- 6in. (15.9cm) diam.; another similar, smaller -- 3in. ( 9.5cm) diam.; a bronze two handled compressed ovoid censer on short foot -- 3in. (8.3cm) wide; all with Xuande six character marks, 19th Century; and a Chinese polished bronze cylindrical box and cover made for the Islamic market incised to the top with kufic calligraphy -- 4in.
