each foliate-carved bobbin-turned top-rail between block and turned uprights, the back centred by a Minton style plaque, each depicting characters, one titled The Antiovary Sir Arthur and Dousters Wivel, the other titled Guy Mannering Meg Merrilees & Hatteraich, the placques signed Moya Smith and numbered CH.XXI and CH.LIV, on turned tapering legs (2)
