the tapered shallow bowl painted in shades of lilac with a waved gadrooned-band lower section issuing sprays of harebells, on lilac-ground domed foot with gilt flute sections above a gilt foliate- band border and gilt line footrim, printed and incised marks, potter's mark for 1852, decorator's mark for 1862 (slight rubbing to gilding) -- 38cm. high
